Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers was the first self-help book I ever read.
When I first read it, I had a new job and I hated it. It was way out of my comfort zone. I worried constantly about not managing the work, looking stupid in front of work colleagues and crashing on the commute to work.
Reading the book was the first time I examined fear. Without reading it, I would have continued to struggle. But the book changed my life, I acted despite my fear, started a new career and moved to a new city.
To start with here are the top quotes I say to myself when I feel scared.
